Purpose of J1 visa internship program

The internship program allows foreign nationals eligible for short-term residency in the United States to participate in internships and training programs in the United States. The legal visa is the J1 visa type. Program participants receive a legal paid internship in a company in the US.

The program provides the opportunity to learn about the culture and working environment in America. Participants will choose the content of the internship program that is appropriate to their major (for new graduates) or not to their major if they have experience (at least 5 years) accumulated in Vietnam.
