3. Entry requirements
- Age: 17 to 22.
- Education: high school graduate or currently in Grade 12; average-to-good academic results or above.
- English: at least basic communication (A1 – A2). Students with IELTS (usually 5.5 – 6.0 or above depending on the programme) may enter the main programme directly.
- No IELTS yet: take the university’s test and complete a 2-semester Preparatory English course (September intake) before starting the main programme.
4. The 7-step process with SHI Global
- Submit your application to SHI: school transcripts and high school diploma (or temporary graduation certificate).
- Online interview with a university representative: assessing study motivation and basic English.
- English test or certificate submission: placement into the main programme or the preparatory course.
- Receive the official Letter of Acceptance (LOA).
- Complete documents and apply for a Type D visa: passport, criminal record certificate, health certificate, proof of finances; documents translated, notarised and legalised. Processing usually takes 4 – 8 weeks.
